Heaven’s Mirror is filmmaker Joshua Dylan Mellars’ mystically wild and lushly romantic fado journey. The director travels from the ironwork balconies and narrow cobbled streets of Lisbon’s Alfama to the cool bungalow porches of former Portuguese Goa, from the salt sprayed clapboard of New England’s former whaling ports to the dusty bullrings of Central California in search of the meaning of saudade, the essence of fado.
