Stolen Youth

Political Prisoner of the Dictatorship

Former political prisoner Hector Marteau survived The Dirty War which saw 30,000 people numbered among the “Disappeared.” In Stolen Youth, the Buenos Aires resident re-visits the prison where he was ‘detained’ forty years ago during the Argentine military dictatorship.

Stolen Youth was an Official Selection at the 39th Mill Valley Film Festival where it made its World Premiere. The film also screened in San Francisco at the United Nations Association Film Festival, in New York City at The People’s Film Festival, in London at the Portobello Film Festival and in Ireland at the Indie Cork Film Festival.
