Abuela Luna Films PGA Golfer Petersson
Abuela Luna Pictures recently completed production of a promotional film for PGA golfer Thomas Petersson.
Shot just south of San Francisco at the prestigious Lake Merced Golf Club, the short film showcases Petersson’s world class technique as he drives, chips and putts on the club’s well manicured course.
Director Joshua Dylan Mellars, who grew up playing sports in the Bay Area, was particularly interested in capturing the methodical mindset of a competitive athlete while highlighting the elegance and precision of Petersson’s swing.
The film was shot during a brief interlude in the golfer’s world touring schedule. Petersson flew to Hong Kong to start a busy Asia tour the day after filming concluded.
