“Stolen Youth” Official Selection at 39th Mill Valley Film Festival

Stolen Youth, directed by Joshua Dylan Mellars, made its world premiere at the 39th Mill Valley Film Festival this evening Sunday, October 9. The film screened to a sold out audience at the historic Rafael Theater in San Rafael, California.

Stolen Youth screens again at the festival on Monday, October 10 at 5 PM at the Sequoia Theater in Mill Valley.

The documentary tells the story of former political prisoner Hector Marteau who survived Argentina’s Dirty War, which saw 30,000 people numbered among the “Disappeared.” In Stolen Youth: Political Prisoner of the Dictatorship, Marteau re-visits the Buenos Aires prison where he was “detained” forty years ago during the Argentine military dictatorship.
