“Stolen Youth” Premieres in Ireland at Indie Cork Film Festival

Stolen Youth: Political Prisoner of the Dictatorship, directed by Joshua Dylan Mellars, is an Official Selection at Ireland’s IndieCork Film Festival.

The film screens at Gate Cinema on Thursday, October 12.

The documentary tells the story of former political prisoner Hector Marteau who survived Argentina’s Dirty War, which saw 30,000 people numbered among the “Disappeared.” In Stolen Youth, Marteau re-visits the Buenos Aires prison where he was “detained” forty years ago during the Argentine military dictatorship.
