Stolen Youth, directed by Joshua Dylan Mellars, screened at the United Nations Association Film Festival in San Francisco on October 25.
The documentary tells the story of former political prisoner Hector Marteau who survived Argentina’s Dirty War, which saw 30,000 people numbered among the “Disappeared.” In Stolen Youth: Political Prisoner of the Dictatorship, Marteau re-visits the Buenos Aires prison where he was “detained” forty years ago during the Argentine military dictatorship.
